Angry B has released a new single and video for a song titled “Hey Corona! (Nice to Meet Ya)”. The song is a critical but humorous take on the world’s reaction to the coronavirus. As one of the biggest pandemics of the last century, Angry B hopes to shed some light on the hysteria and truths surrounding the coronavirus with a comical spin. The goal of the new single and video is not to downplay the current situation, but to inject some dark humour into the situation to motivate people to calm down and bring some joy into these troubling times.

The song’s lyrics depict some of the events surrounding the coronavirus. For instance, it talks about being unable to purchase toilet paper due to the shortages caused by hoarding, the closing of schools and the lack of common sense that people are following which has led to the hastened spread of the virus.

Angry B hopes to create a small escape for people to enjoy while they are either in isolation or worrying about what the future holds. The message is a simple one; frustration and anger won’t help now, all we can do is stay calm, don’t give up and leave some toilet paper for those in need.
