Sir Bruno Serato has announced that Caterina's Club 18th Annual Gala will take place on Sunday, October 15 at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. This year's honorees include His Royal Highness Emmanuel Philbert, President and CEO of Visit Anaheim Jay Burress, and others. The gala will feature a cocktail reception at 5pm followed by a dinner at 6:30pm. Tickets are priced at $350 each. For those unable to attend, donations are encouraged, as the funds raised will support Caterina's Club, a nonprofit organization started by Sir Bruno Serato in 2005. Caterina's Club works to feed thousands of hungry children, find homes for families in need, and provide career training for youth in the hospitality field. Even small donations, as little as $5, can make a difference by feeding a family of four. For more information, interested individuals can call (657) 201-3278 or email [email protected]. Sir Bruno Serato expressed his gratitude to the honorees for their support of Caterina's Club and acknowledged actor Christopher Atkins for his efforts in raising awareness for the organization's mission. Sir Bruno Serato has garnered attention and awards for his philanthropic work and is recognized as a CNN Hero, knighted by the Italian government and House of Savoy, and received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, among other accolades. Caterina's Club partners with Boys & Girls Clubs to deliver hot pasta dinners to underprivileged children in California on a nightly basis.

“This is our most important fundraiser of the year as far as having the opportunity to raise enough funds to keep food on the plates of hungry children, homes for families in need, and jobs for at-risk youth,” says Serato, who first gained fame as the owner of the popular Anaheim White House restaurant. “We are so grateful to His Royal Highness Emmanuel Philbert and the other honorees for having supported Catarina’s club throughout the years and appreciate the efforts of Christopher for using his fame to call attention to your mission of service.”
Currently, Caterina's Club works through Boys & Girls Clubs throughout California to deliver hot pasta dinners to underprivileged kids nightly. Serato even mortgaged his home twice to keep the program going and when a fire burned down his restaurant, the Anaheim White House, where he prepares the dinners, he secured a kitchen the next day and kept feeding the kids without interruption.
For his humanitarian work, he has earned many honors including being named a CNN Hero, being knighted by the Italian government and House of Savoy, received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, was personally blessed by Pope Francis, received a humanitarian award from Congress on the steps of the U.S. Capitol - accolades he accepts to call attention to the crisis of hungry children in the U.S. He has also been featured in People Magazine, CBS Evening News, NBC Nightly News, CBS Sunday Show and media around the world.
